Moroccan Beef

I don’t think there is an easier slow cooker recipe, plus with so much flavor!

Moroccan Beef

(modification of recipe originally from Maria Mind Body Health)

Serves 8

  • 1 cup sliced onion
  • 2 pounds beef roast (chuck, round or pot roast)
  • 3 tablespoons garam masala spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Slice the onion into thin strips.  Place onion into a 5 to 6 quart slow cooker.  Place the beef roast into the cooker, on top of the onions.  Add the spices and salt on top of the beef.  Cook on LOW heat for 8 hours.  Shred beef with a fork and continue cooking on lowest setting (WARM) for another 1 to 2 hours for the spices to infuse the beef.
