When plums are in season (summer to early fall), consider this beautiful main dish. We find that sometimes fresh ginger can be overpowering, but this recipe seems to have found the right balance.
Garam Masala is the aromatic Indian spice mix typically made of cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and black pepper. You can find Garam Masala in the ethnic aisle of your grocery store (or try making your own!).
We like Jamaican jerk seasoning and found this to be an easy “jerk-like” recipe. The original recipe calls for shallots but we used a red onion and liked that, so use whichever you have/prefer.
