This is an easy pork recipe with so much flavor. We served this with collard greens and baked sweet potatoes for a balanced meal.
(original recipe from Southern Living)
Serves 6
- 2 (3/4 pound) pork tenderloins, trimmed of excess fat
- ¼ cup lite soy sauce
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
Make a lengthwise cut down the center of each tenderloin within ¼ inch of the opposite side (without cutting through); press to open.
Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a zip top gallon bag; add tenderloins and seal. Refrigerate for 3 hours, turning occasionally.
Stir together the brown sugar, honey and oil in a small bowl.
Grill tenderloins over direct medium heat for 12 minutes or until done, basting with the honey mixture.
