Thanks for stopping by the new John T Fitness Blog.  I’ve started this website to share what I have learned over the past 16 months on how to lose weight, get fit and eat right.  I plan to create new posts regularly covering all sorts of fitness topics including recipes, nutrition tips, and my personal experiences using various workout programs.  My goal is to replace the newsletter that some of you currently receive with periodic emails generated from my RSS feed.

In order for me to continue getting my message to you I need you to subscribe using the email sign up box on the right hand side of the webpage.  Unfortunately (due to anti-spam rules) I can’t simply enter all your email addresses for you–you need to “opt in”.  Feedburner is a Google subscription service I’ve chosen to use, and with every email you will always have the chance to unsubscribe if you feel you are getting too many updates.  Once you click “OK” you will get a verification email from Feedburner in which you will have to click a confirmation link.  Sounds hard, but it’s not.  Thanks for subscribing!

I want to thank everyone who has sent me comments and feedback on my newsletters, I wish I had an easy way to share those comments with everyone. Now I do!  You will be able to leave public comments and questions on all my posts, and my replies will be visible to everyone.  Of course, you can always send me a private message as well.

Website Features

I’ve tried to layout the website so it answers most of the questions I receive from people.  Here’s what you will find:

  • Fitness:  This tab includes information on all the workout programs Team Beachbody offers.  I’ve highlighted My Favorite Programs here and included short video links that depict what my favorite programs are like.
  • Nutrition:  This is where you will be able to jump to blog entries covering general nutrition.
  • Recipes:  I’ll add my favorite recipes here along with nutritional information.
  • Best of the Web:  I am constantly browsing the internet for good articles and tools on fitness and have started collecting the links here.  This tab is as much for my benefit as it is yours!
  • Beachbody Coaching:  This page describes what I do if you sign up with me as your free Team Beachbody Coach.  There is also information here on what it means to be a coach and how to become one yourself.
  • About Us:  Here you will find my short bio and a page explaining who Team Beachbody is.

Feedback Welcome!

Since this is my first venture into being a webmaster my site may be a little rough around the edges.  If you see anything that looks odd or links that do not work please let me know so I can fix it quickly (I’ve tested on several platforms but everyone’s computers and browsers are different).  If you have suggestions for articles or any other new content let me know that too.  Right now it has much of the content from past newsletters but I will be adding regularly.
